"I have been a resident here for 4 years. It has truly been the best experience! I lost my husband of 65 years after the first 3 years of living here and the support and love I received was overwhelming! They have activities for everyone. I am busy every day! It is like a big family here. I highly recommend McDowell Village!"

"My mother moved there a year and a half ago and is so happy! Her new friends, exercise classes, happy hour, craft classes, and special events keep her busy and engaged. The staff members are professional and friendly, and the facility is beautiful. We are so glad she moved while she is still in good shape and able to enjoy all the activities!"

"I am a new resident to McDowell Village and I am so very happy to be a part of the Community!! Moving is never easy but, when you're 93 everything is a bit more intense. Angel, Vercina, Jillian, Oscar and Giselle are just some of the incredible MBK family that have made my transition easy and comfortable. The only question I ask myself is - Why did I wait so long to "get on board??" VV"

"Andrea is awesome I loved it when she 1st started on bingo she. Called the numbers and she has a lot of spunk in her and she says it with enthusiasm.Andrea also started something. Here at McDowell senior living it’s called. Hand massage and the morning exercise Andrea is fantastic! In everything she does here plus she enjoys working out with the residents,all in all Andrea is a fantastic person I enjoy talking to she brightens up everyone here not just 1 person.Andrea. Is a very hard worker and she enjoys her job very much and she makes the best out of anything that comes her way.Andrea is awesome!Sincerely Peter abney"

"I made the decision to move into a senior living about 2 yrs ago. After seeing about 5 different places. I decided this would be the right place for me. The facility is well kept. The apartments are nice. I visited 3 times before making the decision to move in. I have not been disappointed. In fact it has gotten better. There are more activities to do and the people are friendly. The senior center is within walking distance. I have Parkinson’s and they have activities for people with Parkinson’s that meet once a week at the senior center. There is just so much to do here at McDowell Village. There is a movie theater and they have happy hour everyday. A good place to be. It is a very convenient location. If there is an issue with anything in my apartment the team is great at communicating and getting things taken care of. Chef Matt does a great job in the dinning department."

"My mother Gerlinde resides at McDowell Village and she loves it. We visited several other senior homes in the area and when we came to MBK over three years ago, she immediately felt like she was “home”. From a daughters perspective, I am happy she moved here because all of the staff and residents are very friendly and they have a lot of different activities to keep my mom active and busy. The food is always excellent and the chefs are always looking for feedback on how to incorporate new dishes into their menu. Just recently my mom celebrated her 85th birthday and they catered a very special meal for she and 10 other guests in their private dining room. The amount of care taken to find out what colors, foods, drinks, and decorations my mom would like was extraordinary. There is always excellent communication between all the team members who work at McDowell Village and it makes the experience at MBK a truly special one. Several employees have worked there for many years and my mom not only feels comfortable and safe, but feels close to several of the staff. I feel that MBK goes above and beyond in its customer service and I am so happy my mom loves it there."

"My mother relocated to this residence 6 months ago. Her transformation has been amazing. It's incredible how nutritious food, good socialization, a clean environment and quality activities can enhance a person's quality of life almost immediately! My family is so relieved that mom has found a wonderful place to live and she is supported by MBK staff that genuinely care for their residents. Thank you!"
