Wisdom from Our Senior Dads

At MBK Senior Living communities, we’re lucky to be surrounded by storytellers, mentors, and father figures whose experiences have shaped not only their families—but the world around them.

This Father’s Day season, we’re honoring seven of our incredible senior dads who have generously shared their insights, humor, and heartfelt advice with us. From lessons learned through decades of love and perseverance, to one-liners that still make us laugh, their words are a reminder of the strength and wisdom that comes with age.

A Legacy of Love and Laughter

For many of our team members, these men are more than residents—they’ve become friends, confidants, and yes, even like fathers or grandfathers. Their presence is a daily gift, and we are endlessly grateful for the stories they share and the steady, joyful example they set.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to ask a question, share a meal, or simply sit and listen. You never know what kind of wisdom might change your day—or your life.

To all our dads and father figures, thank you. You continue to teach us what really matters.

Listening.
It's What We're Here For

Every time that I visited my dad, I enjoyed myself from the moment I walked in the door. The place is just alive! It was always a pleasure to go in and be greeted by name and say hello to everyone, staff and residents.
