MBK Senior Living is pleased to announce the promotion of Jonathan Stucker to Regional Sales Director.
Originally from Riverside, California, Jonathan started his career in senior living in 2016 when he answered an ad for a caregiver. Over his six years with MBK Senior Living, he has served as Activities Director, Director of Sales, Associate Executive Director, and Executive Director.
"Within weeks of taking the caregiving position, I knew I had found my true calling. When I found MBK, I knew I had found my forever company," said Stucker. "I thoroughly enjoy helping seniors and their families and working for a company with heart."
In his new role, Jonathan will utilize his operational and sales experience to implement sales processes and provide training and coaching to community sales teams. In addition, he will analyze and monitor industry trends and support sales goals and occupancy growth at MBK communities in Arizona and Washington.
"Jonathan is a true champion of MBK's core values and genuinely leads with empathy, humility, and a growth mindset," said Becky Price, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "His multifarious experience gives him a unique viewpoint to tackle his new role supporting the success of our Directors of Sales and communities."
According to Price, Jonathan's rapid career trajectory speaks volumes of his passion for serving and the company's commitment to supporting team members' desired career growth. In 2021, while working as Director of Sales at MBK's McDowell Village community, Jonathan expressed interest in community operations. He applied for and was accepted into the company's Executive Director in Training (EDIT) program while simultaneously being promoted to Associate Executive Director.
EDIT is a comprehensive, high-touch program that offers meaningful training, knowledge sharing, personalized guidance, and upward mobility to department leaders interested in becoming Executive Directors. The bulk of the program focuses on training in the community and is designed to support future-ready leaders, strengthen the MBK team, and promote from within the company.
"In less than a year, Jonathan had graduated from our EDIT program and was offered an Executive Director position at a sister community in Arizona," said Price. "He put his experience to work immediately, stabilizing the community leadership team, achieving significant occupancy gains, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents and families alike."
"Don't let his beloved Mr. Rogers sweater and humble nature fool you. He's a force to be reckoned with in the best possible way," said Price. "We are thrilled to have him on the MBK Senior Living team. His remarkable track record of success will be a tremendous asset to the regional team as we continue our pursuit to be the senior living provider of choice in each of the markets we serve."
